Special Education/Gifted

The Central Valley School District offers a full continuum of special education programs and services. These programs are designed to deliver services specific to a student’s disability in a least restrictive/ inclusive environment. Our goal is to educate all students to become self-sufficient, productive members of society.

The Central Valley School District provides appropriate educational opportunities for eligible gifted students. These opportunities are commensurate with their capabilities as learners. Opportunities are provided to enable students to explore identified areas of focus and to develop high levels of thinking through enrichment activities, program acceleration, and specialized study opportunities.
