CVMS selected for upcoming visit by the Schools to Watch Re-designation team
It is with great excitement that we share with our parents and community our upcoming visit date by the Schools to Watch site visit team!   The visit is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 25.
This honorable visit is a  great step towards validating all of the hard work and growth we have demonstrated the past 3 years. It is a great feeling that the STW screening team acknowledges that our school's programming and teachers continue to provide our students and community and exemplary education that addresses the whole child and warrants a visit. We are looking forward to hosting the STW team in our pursuit for Re-Designation.
It's a great day to be a CVMS Warrior!
CVMS after school Homework/Tutoring center program
We are extremely excited to announce that we have partnered with our Central Valley National Honors Society students and Geneva College education majors to create an after school Homework/Tutoring center program.  This program will take place Monday through Thursday from 2:35-3:30 in our middle school library.  Students are able to sign up through their teachers to attend.  Volunteers will be there to work along side of our teachers to assist our students with any homework and tutoring needs.  Thank you Geneva and NHS students for volunteering your time to make a difference!!!

The Central Valley School District is moving to PowerSchool for Parents for all grades and assignments in grade levels 6 through 12. In the past you have used PowerSchool to view graded assignments and attendance. You will now use that same account to see up coming homework, assignments, tests and quizzes. If you already have a PowerSchool account you do not need to do anything, just continue to login with the username and password you created and use it to check for upcoming homework, assignments, tests and quizzes. If you have never logged into PowerSchool before you will need to create an account. You received a letter in August containing your Access ID and Access Password. The videos below will walk you through creating and account using that information. If you have an account but do not remember the password you can click the "
Forgot Username or Password" link on the login page. If you no longer have access to the email address you used to create your account you will need to contact the building office to have it reset.
This information can alway be found on the left hand side of our website at the Powerschool for Parents link.
