Central Valley Named Among Nation's Best Communities for Music Education
The Central Valley School District was recently named among the nation’s Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation – one of only 2 in Beaver County.  
8th Grade Scheduling Meeting
The high school guidance counselors will be meeting with our current 8th grade students on during period 1 & 2 on Wednesday, April 1 to discuss their scheduling options for the 2015-16 school year.  Please click on to read more. 
CVMS first annual Stem Walk Thursday, April 9 from 6:00 - 7:30pm
The community is invited to attend a STEM Walk at 6:00pm on Thursday, April 9 at the Middle School. This STEM Walk is provided through the Beaver County Educational Trust & Highmark grant.  This year we are proud to have partnered with TUV Rheinland. Students from grades 6-8 will participate in demonstrations with TUV Rheinland employees to illustrate testing methods they have studied in class. Friends and families of Middle School students are encouraged to attend this event to watch students participate in real-world science applications.

The school board has approved the district calendar for the 2015-16 school year.

Congratulations to Abby Bernard on her 3rd place finish at the State Archery Competition
Mr. Miller and his archery club traveled to Penn State University on Friday, March 13 to compete in the state archery competition.  Congratulations to all of our students who competed and a special Congrats and Good Luck to Abby Bernard who placed 3rd and advanced to the National Competition to be held in Kentucky this spring. 
MS Community Service students read to Center Grange students at this years Story Walk.

April 23 Take your child to work day is a PSSA Math Testing Date
It was brought to my attention that April 23rd is take your child to work day.  We are administering PSSA Math tests on this date.  We are asking that your child attends school this year and to accompany their parent on another date after PSSA testing concludes on April 29.  Thank you for your cooperation 
Weather Make-Up Days
Due to the school cancellations on February 19th and 20th, school will now be IN SESSION on March 9th and April 2nd, 2015.

Important Notice Regarding Student Registration Procedures
Beginning January 27, 2015 parents of any new students regardless of grade level looking to attend Central Valley School District should report to South Entrance of the Central Valley High School to register with the District (This does not apply to students registering for Kindergarten for the 2015-16 school year, that announcement is coming soon). 
CVMS students raise over $12,000 with Cookie Dough & Warrior Card Fundraisers
CVMS students raised over $9,000 with this years cookie dough sale and over $3,500 in warrior card sales.  The money will be used at each grade level differently to enhance their programs, provide prizes, and possible field trips.  Great effort and participation by all to enhance your middle school experiences and special thanks to our middle school PTO and fundraiser provider Jeff Martinelli and to all who supported our student fundraisers!
