CVMS Christmas Toy Drive
Student Council and The Community Service Club held their Christmas Toy Drive for Tots.  The students were able to donate  4 large bags of toys and over $400 in cash to donate to the Monaca Police Department's Santa Cops Toy Drive.  Thank you students for kindness and generosity!!!

CVMS Winter Wonderland Dance
Community Service Club will be holding a Winter Wonderland School Dance on Friday, December 19 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Middle School Gymnasium.  Please see attachment for more details. 
CVMS adds Bullying Reporting Form to Webpage
CVMS Student Council creates online reporting Bullying Form.  This form is located on the bottom right hand side of the Middle School Webpage under Student Quick Links.  When a form is submitted, a notification is sent to Mr. Dolph & Mrs. Hartzell to investigate.  The Student Council will also be available to assist with peer conflict remediation.    
CVMS students excel at Academic Games Competition at Geneva College
Thirty CVMS students travelled to Geneva College on Friday, November 21 to compete in the Academic Games competition "Propaganda". Preliminary Middle level qualifiers for the national tournament include Jodi Patterson, who tied for first, Lucas Watson, who tied for third, Alexis Alquin, and Kevin Kennelly. In the Elementary Division for 6th Grade, Mariah Pringle also tied for third, in a field of over 150 competitors!  Great job by all!  
CVMS students raise over $12,000 with Cookie Dough & Warrior Card Fundraisers
CVMS students raised over $9,000 with this years cookie dough sale and over $3,500 in warrior card sales.  The money will be used at each grade level differently to enhance their programs, provide prizes, and possible field trips.  Great effort and participation by all to enhance your middle school experiences and special thanks to our middle school PTO and fundraiser provider Jeff Martinelli and to all who supported our student fundraisers! 
CVMS awarded STEM Grant from BCET & Highmark
The Beaver County Educational Trust has awarded CVMS $1,455 to conduct a STEM Walk night at the middle school this spring.  We would like to thank the Beaver County Educational Trust & Highmark for this wonderful opportunity.  We are proud to announce that we will be partnering with TUV Rheinland to put on our event this spring.  More details to follow in the near future.

CARE (Latchkey) is looking for a qualified person to work at our before and after school child-care program.
