ABC Transit and the Frye Transportation Group Transporting Central Valley Students for the 2023-24 School Year

Our staff is very excited about the reopening of school.  As most of you are aware, the Central Valley School District will have two new bus companies transporting our students this year, ABC Transit Inc. and the Frye Transportation Group.

We have worked extremely hard to put together bus routes to meet the needs of our students in the Central Valley School District. Please be mindful of the fact that our bus companies are new and will take time to get accustomed and acclimated to our routes. The shortage of bus drivers and workers still exists, however, both companies are working extremely hard to fulfill our needs. We are looking forward to working with our parents to ensure that our schools have the tools needed to attract and retain qualified school bus drivers so that kids can get back to school safely and efficiently which will always be our number one goal.

All bus schedules are posted on the district website - Click here.

Please be advised that buses may run late during the first couple of weeks of school. Our primary focus is to make sure your child gets to and from school in a safe manner, Please keep in mind that delays may happen throughout the course of the year.

As per district policy, please have your child ready for pick up 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time listed on the bus schedule.

If you have any issues over the next several days your first contact should be dispatch (Click here). Dispatch is the quickest way to get your issue resolved. The number for dispatch can be found on the district website. If you need further assistance I can be reached at 724-775-5600 extension 14500. My information can be found on the district website as well.

We will make every effort to return your phone call in a timely fashion. We want your child’s riding experience to be a positive one.

Thank you, welcome back, and let’s have a great school year!

Sam Cercone
Director of Transportation
