Yesterday there was a ruling by the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania declaring the current state-wide mask mandate for schools as “void” or invalid. Soon after, the Pennsylvania Department of Health (PADOH) filed an appeal in response to the ruling which automatically generated a “stay” or put on hold the Commonwealth Court’s ruling and keeps the mask mandate order in effect for teachers, students and visitors.
The District will continue to monitor the proceedings in this case and will update you accordingly. Thank you in advance for your continued cooperation.
