Central Valley Middle School Celebrates Inclusion Day Kickoff for Unified Sports

The Central Valley Middle School held the inaugural Spread the Word Inclusion Day on March 17. Students and teachers engaged in activities that focused on inclusion throughout the school day. The morning started with information inclusion. Students discussed inclusion and how we can accept people who are different than us during their advisory lesson. They learned more about disabilities, discussed the unique talents of themselves and others, and thought of ways to include all people. At lunch, students signed a banner to pledge to include others and promote an inclusive school culture. They received a sticker and a bracelet to remind them of this pledge.
