COVID-19 Update March 15, 2020: A Message from the Superintendent on Recent School Closure
Members of the Central Valley School Community,

First, let me thank you in advance for your cooperation during these unprecedented times. Obviously, the climate of the country and the direction for dealing with the pandemic is ever-changing and has swung dramatically over the past week. I realize that you have questions about the next two weeks and beyond should the closure be extended. There are many questions and answers that are still unknown to all schools across the Commonwealth with regard to Federal and State requirements for the delivery and continuation of instruction through a long term closure. I have been working with the Beaver County Superintendents and various leaders from across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to obtain answers and direction from the PA State Department of Education in order for us to respond to this recent closure appropriately. I will continue to update our school community as answers roll in. You can expect an update from me sometime tomorrow. As of now, all students are to stay home beginning tomorrow. Thank you.

Dr. Nicholas Perry
