STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS – November 19, 2013
1. Freshmen, please share school spirit pictures of you and your friends wearing orange and black. Many of these are needed for the Freshmen Divider pages in the yearbook. Go to the Green High School web page. Find Headlines & Features and click on Photo Share. This link will take you to Jostens Replay It to create an account where you can download your pictures.
2. Club and group pictures will be taken on Tuesday, December 3rd – that is the day we return from Thanksgiving break. Groups will be called over the PA. The senior panoramic picture will also be taken that day. Further details will be provided on future announcements.
3. There is a Mock Trial meeting Wednesday after school in room 211. Please see Mr. Edwards if you are unable to attend.
4. All Girls of Green members MUST pay their "Pay to Participate" fee in order to come to the next meeting. If you have not paid you will be asked to leave. All members should come to Wednesday’s meeting. We will be putting together "Blessings in a Backpack" kits. Girls of Green clothing order forms and payments are due on Wednesday. Also, we will be discussing the upcoming blood drive.
5. Continue to bring in those canned goods to your first period in order to win donuts for the entire class. Your class can win more than once! Also – the grand prize will be a buffet breakfast AND t-shirt for the first period with the highest grand total. We ask that you please check the expiration date on your items BEFORE you bring them in! Expired items will not be given credit. The next collection and tally date is this Friday, November 22.
6. Don’t forget to get your tickets for Legally Blonde. There is a student special for the Thursday, November 21st performance. Students may purchase a $10 seat for only $5! That’s for the Thursday performance only! Show time for that performance is $7:00pm. Get your tickets now! Box office hours are 8 to 10:00am and 5:00 to 9:00pm through November 20th.
7. Renaissance Cards were passed out yesterday. If you earned a card and did not receive it, please see Mr. Reeves before or after school in room 135.
8. This Wednesday, November 20th, the cafeteria will be serving the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner! There will be very limited other options, so if you don’t like turkey and all the fixings, please pack a lunch.
