Health and safety update from the Thomasville City Schools District:

A staff member at Thomasville Elementary School has tested positive for the Coronavirus. The employee tested positive during Thanksgiving Holidays when school was not in session.

The contact tracing performed did not identify any students or additional staff who would be required to quarantine due to exposure. The custodial staff at TES have already performed cleaning and disinfection procedures to the staff member's work area.

This information has been reported to the Alabama Department of Public Health.
