At Boardman Glenwood High School, the red dragons dealt with intense heat and even more intense competition at the Spartan Invitational Meet. The Spartan Invitational is one of the largest meets in the midwest with almost 400 runners in the varsity high school races. The high school boys varsity team, led by Micah Curry, placed 17th out of 48 teams. The high school girls varsity team, led by Hailey Zelinsky, placed 34th out of 51 teams. The middle school boys placed 32nd out of 48 teams and the middle school girls placed 37th out of 41 teams.
