Public Forum on School Safety

The Franklin County Schools held a community forum on school safety Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

About 30 people, a handful of whom shared their observations and ideas, attended the forum. Panelists answered questions, listened to suggestions and provide insight on safety measures in place at the Franklin County Schools. The panel included FCS Supt. Mark Kopp and members of his leadership team, Western Hills High School Principal Greg Roush, Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton, Frankfort Police Chief Travis Ellis and Jon Akers, executive director of the Kentucky Center for School Safety.
