Girls Tennis Drops Season Opener to Grove City, Rebounds With a Win At Westland
The HTHS girls' tennis team began their season with a tough 5-0 loss at Grove City last night, but the Lady Rangers weren't down for long. They rebounded with a close 3-2 win at Westland this morning. Singles wins came from senior Khloee Rowe at first singles 7-5, 6-2 and junior Lexi Bostic at third singles 6-3, 6-2. At second doubles, freshman Stefani Dillon and Emily McCarty pulled out a three-set match and clinched the win for the team 4-6, 6-2, 6-0. Congratulations to the entire team for tough play in the first two matches! The Lady Rangers continue play at Bishop Hartley on Monday, 8/17.
