High school art students created Greek style pottery with help from a grant donated by the Central Valley Education Foundation. Students made large scale pots on banding wheels purchased through the grant. They used the coil method to build up the walls of the pottery. The students learned about the styles of pottery used by the Ancient Greeks, how to build up a 3/d structure using clay, and how to decorate pots using glaze, slip, and mason stains. The high school art department would like to thank the Central Valley Education Foundation for their generous grant.

Great work CV NHS!
