It is with great excitement that we bring our K-12 students and teachers together for one evening to showcase some of the great STEAM projects that are taking place across our district. STEAM is a project based student inquiry approach that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and real life problem-solving across disciplines focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math.


On Wednesday, April 26, 2017 we will be holding our first annual K-12 STEAM Expo at the Central Valley Middle School which will feature our students’ projects throughout the year. The entire community is invited to come out to celebrate our students’ accomplishments and see the the innovative learning that is taking place across the district. We look forward to seeing your there!

Starting Monday, March 27, 2017; PENNDOT will be closing and replacing a bridge on Chapel Road in front of the former Jem's Deli, near Highland Avenue and Morgan Lane. The project is expected to take the remainder of the school year.
Due to this closure, some bus schedules will need to be adjusted. If your child's bus is affected by this project you will be contacted by the Transportation Department no later than Friday, March 24th to be notified of the adjusted bus schedule. 
 
All students that are riding the bus to school should be at their bus stop 10 minutes prior to their scheduled pickup time. There also may be a 5 to 10 minute delay in drop-off times, during the project.
