Last April, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the NIASHF awarded individual scholarships of $4,000 to four (4) deserving high school seniors based on high academic achievement, financial need and athletic ability at the varsity level.
$500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or (87% or higher "B") based on academic achievement, community involvement and financial need.
Scholarships for high school seniors living in public or assisted housing at a PHADA member agency.
500 Word EssayRequired : "How do credit union values differ from banks?" Five (5) scholarships will be awarded: (three (3) - $500 scholarships, one (1) $1,000 scholarship and one (1) $1,500 scholarship to seniors.
Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and attend a 2 yr or 4 yr college with a degree program in Early Childhood Dev, Human Services, Social Work, Educ, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, Physical, Respiratory or Rehab Therapy, Nursing, Physician Asst, Pre Med, Health Care, Public Health or Epidemiology.
This $1,000 scholarship is open to students who plan to attend a trade school, college, or university for the fall of 2019. Students possess a 2.5 GPA (80% - 'B') or better and demonstrate leadership, volunteerism, character and overall positive attitude towards life.
Two scholarships of $4,000 will be awarded (over a two-year period of $2,000 each) to any male or female athlete participating in any sanctioned varsity sport and who will be attending any college, vocational school, or accredited post secondary program upon graduation from CVHS.
