Principal's Corner

Hello Todd Lane Parents,
This may be the last entry to the Principal’s Corner for the year. I know everyone has received a calendar of events for the remaining days of school. Tomorrow we are having a Flag Retirement Ceremony for the current flag here at Todd Lane because it is in bad shape. The boy and girl scouts have prepared a small program for this event. Possibly the Beaver County Times will be on hand to report on the event. I personally never attended one of these ceremonies for the flag. The entire school will be present for this event and hopefully it will be something they remember.
The dress code has been getting much attention lately because of the warm weather. The flip-flop situation is under control however I have been reminding students about very short shorts. Some are exceptionally short; we ask that they be a decent length. Tank tops are permissible with thick straps on the shoulder.
I would like to thank everyone for their help and support in making this transition for this merger year run smoothly. It was a wonderful experience for all involved in making new friends and building a new school district.
