Student compete at Academic Games World Events Tournament

CVMS students have a great showing

On January 24, 2012 the Academic Games World Events tournament was held at Ambridge High School. 30 students from Central Valley Middle School competed against other students from Beaver County. This year's theme was The Supreme Court along with current events from 2011. The following students earned qualifying scores for the

National Tournament in April:
Elementary Divsion - Mark Schmidt, Katie Kerr, Kristen Schaefer and Jordan Ferrell
Middle Division - Charlie Bowers (1st place), Alex Bowman(3rd place), Nick Pilotti(4th place), Bobby Bieshelt, Adam Kline and Devin Harsch.
