Teacher Inducted into 2010 PMEA Hall of Fame
Center High School is proud to announce the induction of Mr. Jim Rizzo into the 2010 PMEA Hall of Fame
The Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) is an organization that promotes music education through community programs, teacher development, and student festivals. Induction to the Hall of Fame means being recognized by every music educator in the state as an outstanding teacher who made a lasting impact on his students, school and community.
The Center High School marching band, jazz band and school musical orchestra has earned numerous honors and recognition awards throughout the state under Mr. Rizzo's direction during the past 35 years.
Mr. Rizzo accepted the award Friday, April 23 during the annual PMEA conference at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
Congratulations Mr. Rizzo!
