This fall we are implementing a K-2 curriculum called PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies).

The PATHS curriculum addresses the following goals in the area of social and emotional development:

·         Goal setting

·         Self-responsibility

·         Giving and accepting compliments

·         Understanding and verbalizing feelings

·         Self-control and thinking before you act

·         Logical reasoning, problem solving and making good choices

·         Recognizing and understanding how one’s behaviors affect others

·         Conflict resolution with peers and respecting others’ points of view
