WELCOME TO ALGEBRA ONE!!

Algebra I students deepen and extend their understanding of linear and exponential relationships by comparing, contrasting, and applying these models to data that exhibit a linear or exponential trend. Students analyze and explain the process of solving equations and use regression techniques to describe approximate linear relationships through quantities. Students utilize function notation, develop the concepts of domain and range, and interpret these functions graphically, numerically, symbolically, and verbally. Students apply knowledge of the Real Number System to identify and create non-linear expressions. Students engage in methods for analyzing, solving, and using quadratic formulas. Students use these experiences to view mathematics as a coherent subject that applies to real world problem solving.
