Common Core Standards
The Common Core State Standards were adopted by the Pennsylvania State Board of Education on July 1, 2010. As of November 2010 at least 40 other states had voluntarily adopted the Common Core State Standards. By July 1, 2013, all public schools within the Commonwealth must implement the Common Core State Standards.
