Central Valley Presents The Warrior 5K Run/Walk
Please join us as Central Valley hosts the Warrior 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, August 13, 2016. The event will start and end at the Walter R. & Lois A. Sylvester Wellness Center at Central Valley High School-Located at 160 Baker Road Extension, Monaca, PA 15061. The course will include Todd Lane Elementary, Baker Road and CCBC, to Center Grange Elementary, and back to Central Valley HS Campus, ending at the Wellness Center.  This event will raise money in order provide health and wellness equipment to our community members and students of the Central Valley School District. Our vision is to create healthier opportunities for our Central Valley Community, by connecting wellness education with recreation.

District Increases in Rankings for 3rd Straight Year
The Central Valley School District makes another jump in regional school district rankings according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.  
Central Valley School District Facility Feasibility Study
The Central Valley School District hired Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates to perform a feasibility study on all of its facilities. The purpose of the feasibility study is to gather information to help guide short term and long term planning for the current and future maintenance and/or upgrades to our facilities. Information on the study will be shared with the school community through public meetings as well as through the posting of information on the District website. ATTENTION LOCAL BUSINESSES - Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program
The Education Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) enables companies who do business in Pennsylvania to support an authorized Education Improvement Organization (EIO) such as Central Valley Education Foundation.  Tax credits equal to 75 percent of its contribution up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year. Can be increased to 90 percent of the contribution, if business agrees to provide same amount for two consecutive tax years.  Consider supporting Central Valley School Districts "IPAD" Initiative through the EITC program unique to Pennsylvania businesses.
